Frequently Asked Co-Op Questions

Q: Where can I start a co-op?
A: A co-op can be started at any location that has a physical address. This includes schools, offices, homes, places of worship, or any place that works best for you and your co-op buddies.

Q: How do you make payments in a co-op?
A: Each person in a co-op has an individual account with Door to Door Organics. This allows each customer to have separate control of their payments, such as with changing credit cards or putting their service on hold when on vacation. Your credit card will be charged after you have received your box. A co-op can also submit one check for all orders at the time of delivery.

Q: Are all boxes in a co-op the same?
A: Definitely not. Each person can choose from four different box sizes. These boxes can be all fruit, all veggie or a combo of both. Each person can then make up to three substitutions if there is something in the box they do not want, or especially want, that week.

Q: How many people are in a co-op?
A: A minimum of four orders (four boxes) are needed to start a co-op. There is no limit to the maximum number of orders in a co-op.

Q: How do I get a fundraiser started at my school or non-profit group?
A: When a co-op is set up at a school or non-profit, a portion of each box payment will be given to the organization. Each member of the co-op orders individually, but enters the same address as the other members of the co-op, such as a school address. The organization will receive a check from us each month depending on how many boxes were ordered. Please email us for more information.

Q: I have all of the people I want for my co-op, now what do we do?
A: Each member of a co-op can go online and sign up for the box that they want. When you get to the page asking for a delivery address, make sure each person enters their personal address. Each person or the co-op leader must follow up with us to ensure you are placed in the co-op. This will over-ride your personal information. If you do not have internet access, you can call us to set up an account.

Q: Is there a delivery charge?
A: There is a delivery charge for locations out of our normal delivery range of Ft. Collins to Colorado Springs. Please visit our delivery page for more details.
